What’s been happening:

43 years ago I never dreamed that I would end up in higher education at the University of La Verne in California. A PSU psychology faculty member from the College of Education on loan to the Univ of Maryland in Munich recruited me to come to PSU. Looking back I can see that was a true blessing. My favorite class that I now teach is culture and gender issues in management. A big thanks goes also to Dr. George Guthrie who first introduced me to an Asian culture. He hired me to type his research papers on Filipino child rearing which opened my eyes to culture analysis! Later he helped me go to the East-West Center in Honolulu on a fat scholarship.
